The Western Australian Government, in conjunction with Tourism Western Australia, launched a campaign inspiring young Western Australians to embrace the opportunity to have a working holiday in WA. GIWA encourages members to engage with the #workandwander campaign. Get paid to make memories with Work and Wander Out Yonder.
Grab you friends this summer, escape the city and take a working holiday through regional WA. You can get your hands dirty, help regional businesses and discover some of WA’s iconic destinations. There is a lot to see and do, and plenty of work available in vineyards, hotels, orchards, farms, cafés and more!
You can access free or discounted short courses to help you get a job that needs training or qualifications.
Financial support may be available for accommodation and travel costs if you work on farms, orchards, vineyards and other agricultural workplaces.
